END OF YEAR UPDATE 23RD DECEMBER 2020
I’m sure that we are all glad to see the back of 2020, which has been an extremely challenging year. We all hope that once the Vaccine is introduced and starts to take effect, there should be light at the end of the tunnel and hopefully 2021 will be a far better, and busier year. As a company, we have managed the impact of the Corona Virus situation as well as we possibly could, which places us in a good position to push on next year with several good opportunities on the horizon. We plan to operate effectively through January, and navigate through these very difficult times to try to get back to some normality as quickly as possible. On a positive note, we have introduced two new ventures this year – Keedwell Konnect Ltd (Logistics Management) and more recently, Junction 22 Trailers Ltd, suppling trailer repairs and servicing to our fleet and other customers – we wish both Companies every success for the future. We must emphasise the cont
inual need for focus on Customer Service, which is very important to maintain and develop our Customer base. We continue to gain a reputation in the Industry for First Class service, which is wholly reliant on the relationships we develop with our customers and the impression we give whilst delivering their products. The collection & delivery points are the most important points of contact for our customers, and we are judged on how we present ourselves. During this coming year, we will be looking to introduce a driver performance bonus, based on Driver behaviour, driver performance, attendance and vehicle MPG. We are also looking at the Traffic teams performance and customer service KPI’s, with workshops also measured on MOT / Servicing performance etc – We are a team, and are only as good as the people in it, working together. Dee and I would like to thank everyone for all their efforts in what has been a very difficult year. Let’s try to make next year a cracker of a year! Merry Christmas to you all, and a very Happy New Year.
Stay Safe
Regards
Stuart
